I travelled from Hertfordshire to buy my car, when I arrived I was allowed to look around the car at my own leisure. No pressure applied whatsoever, maybe because if we didn’t buy the Golf, it wasn’t going to stay on the forecourt for very long.  Such a selection of prestige marques from which to choose and all prime examples: if we hadn’t already decided which we were targeting, it would have made for a wide and too difficult choice.  Many congratulations too, to the valetting team; all the cars looked pristine and so inviting, just adding to the experience.  Very many thanks also for tying into our requirements by ferrying us from Bridgend Station to your premises when we came to finalise and pick up – we certainly have no hesitation in recommending your service to anyone interested in purchasing a high end spec car.

yourselves, particularly regarding allowing me the keys to look over the car
myself and then to take it for a test drive to help my decision.

After deciding to go ahead with the purchase and a getting a full
explanation from yourselves as to what was needed, I picked the car up the
following week all cleaned and ready as agreed. The whole process went very

Dear The Driving Range,

 

I was looking for an Alfa Brera, with specific features, colour and at the right price and did a 100 mile search from where we lived. Three cars were considered, but on our first visit to your selves both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the way we were treated.

 

We met Andrew who gave us plenty of time to look over the car and then take it out, on our own to test drive with no hard sale involved. He made what we considered a fair offer for our existing car in part exchange and agreed to have the car serviced and taxed.

 

For various reasons we discounted the other cars we saw, mainly because the other cars were not in as good a condition but also the attitude to service at one of the other garages in particular, was terrible and therefore as a matter of principle I would not have bought a car of them.

 

I know that this may all be a bit long winded but in a nut shell you provided a great service with no hard sell, the car did not disappoint and was in extremely good condition and matched the description given. I would not hesitate to come to you again when I am next looking to change my car.

I Purchased a 04 Reg BMW 525d SE in dark blue with titanium wheels, I was given the opportunity to take it for a generous test drive. The next day i came back with a friend of mine who is a BMW mechanic, he gave the car the once over and stated it was all in perfect working order. " For anyone who is nervous about buying a car over the internet, I can tell you from my personal experience that it was as easy as it promised to be. I was amazed that I could choose a second hand car with the same choice as a new car, with regard to make, model, spec, engine size etc, as long as I was prepared to travel. I had a specific make, model, colour, engine type and price range and I found the car I was looking for at Driving Range in South Wales, near Cardiff Airport and just off the M4. After my initial contact with the company, I had conficence that I was not being taken for a ride as they spoke knowledgeably about the car, and had very good photos on their website for me to look at. I was able to call several times with specific questions, and never felt pressurised, or that I was giving them any trouble. I spoke to Ken, Andrew and the boss, Mark on several occasions, and they accepted a £500 deposit to secure the car.
They offered to, and did, collect me from the airport, allowed me time to test drive the car on the day, with a relaxed cup of coffee beforehand. I was allowed the time to ask further questions, and the details of the company warranty were explained to me, as was the pre-delivery inspection report, and the HPI equivalent check that every vehicle gets at the garage. They were very accommodating and trusting, in allowing me to specify that I wanted a tow bar and DVD player fitted before delivery, and this was done with the least fuss possible. The car was in beautiful condition too, and valeted to a high standard.
I collected my car and drove out of the garage, turned left onto the slip road for the M4 and I was on my way to Scotland.It could not have been easier. If you have any hesitation about buying from this team, let me reassure you that the after sales service has been excellent too, and the one minor thing which we later had to address with them was also dealt with courteously and quickly. I would definitely do this again, and with Driving Range if I needed to go that far- 435 miles! It was well worth it from the point of view of value and service."

Having recently visiting the Driving range car sales after seeing the car I liked on autotrader,

I just wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for going the extra mile to help me with my quest to find the "right" car for me. The Chrysler was exactly as described and the level of service offered by you and your colleagues far surpassed my expectations.

I`m grateful for your colleague picking me up at the airport on arrival, service and assistance like that is hard to find these days.

As you are aware I flew 450 miles to buy the car and I drove 450 miles home with the car. As far as I am concerned it was both time and money well spent. It`s very reassuring to know there are still some people out there who have a genuine love for what they do and strive for a higher level of service than "just another garage".
